Our Genesis
We are the first of its kind in Dementia Care providers, in the combined state of Andhra Pradesh in 2008 and it all started at the initiative of caregivers when Dementia was not fully known even to the health care professionals.
Established in November 2008, ARDSI-Hyderabad Deccan is the local chapter of the National Organization – Alzheimer’s & Related Disorders Society of India.
We registered as a society on 28thAugust 2009 (Registration no: 561/900/2009) under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Act 2001.

We are providing day care and homecare services for persons with dementia; counselling and hand holding support to caregivers and families, in and around Hyderabad for the past sixteen years.
We are the pioneers in conducting awareness campaigns, and actively engaging with the governments both at the state and national level and influenced policy – inclusion of Dementia as part of the Non – Communicable Diseases in the National Health Mission.
